Becoming an Angel

Please carefully consider becoming an OGMC/CGO Angel. Through this type of sponsorship that we will be able to enhance the type of music and shows that you deserve to see. In this upcoming season, the Chorus is celebrating 15 years of performing in this community, and our first year on a new millenium.

The rising costs of performance venues, production costs for music, musicians to accompany the Chorus, lighting, wardrobe and many other important aspects to our growth all need to be addressed.

The Ottawa Gay Men's Chorus/Le Choeur gai d'Ottawa is the second oldest gay men's chorus in Canada and the oldest in Ontario. It is our hope that through your patronage the seasone to follow will help us attract new members, talen and interest.

We would like to be a proud representation of what our community is capable of.

In order to accomplish this we need your support. Please take time to drop us a note, either by regular mail or email indicating your interest in becoming an Angel. The OGMC is a federally recognized charity and all donations are tax-deductable.

The various levels of support are as follows:

• Archangels: over $1,000 (includes 4 subscriptions, $100 value)
• Corporate Angels: $500 - $999 (includes 2 subscriptions, $50 value)
• Guardian Angels: $100 - $499 (includes 1 subscription, $25 value)
• Cupids: $25 - $99

All Angels receive:

• acknowledgement in our programs for the entire season in which they donated,
• an income tax receipt for the portion of your donation which exceeds the cost of the subscription tickets received,
• ticket exchanges (when not sold out),
• an Invitation to an Annual Special Event at Season end.
• discounts on program advertising of 10%, 15% or 25%
