About the Authors

Chris Guy

My diverse background, varied lifestyles and the many people I have met on my travels have provided me with a great platform to draw from for writing.

Abandoning university studies to travel, I ended up in Western Australia professionally roo shooting. Subsequent occupations included prawn fishing, copper and sapphire mining, yard building and fencing, and inventing and manufacturing. I also spent time selling real estate and taxi driving and operating several small businesses and recently obtained a diploma in counselling and work in the area of suicide bereavement support and prevention.

Since turning my hand to writing I have produced three novels in the past year and have several others in the making. Like many other aspiring authors I realised the problem of convincing a mainstream publisher to accept and publish my works was a daunting one. After the 'literary gate-keepers' politely rejected my last submissions accompanied by a favourable manuscript agency appraisal, obtained at their insistence, I decided a different approach was needed if I was to see my works in finished form before I departed this great planet.

This resulted in the development of "The Self-Publishing System" and subsequent publication of my books with others to follow soon. If you are presently in the same situation I invite you to avail yourself of the system, which is more fully explained further on.

I hope you will enjoy reading my books. While not true life adventures and events, they are strongly influenced by the fluctuating harshness and cruelty of the great, sun-ravaged outback and paradoxically, the over-whelming peace and serene solitude it offers to those that embrace it.

And of course, the people who call it 'home'. Suspense and action abound, fueled as always by people's confused perceptions of their own reality and their subsequent inhumanity to their fellow person.
Enjoyable reading!

Sincerely,

Chris Guy.
