Shortly after the asteroid nearly missed the earth March 25--April 9, 2004, we had again the May 5, 2000 alignment of planets. The planets at that time were in a line on the same side of the sun, just like May 5, 2000, although their arc of 135 degrees is not as tight as the 26 degree arc of 2000, although, the width of this arc is not as important nor prophetic as the near-miss of the asteroid in its near collision with earth at the beginning of this rare alignment. This was the final 'signal' in the ancient manuscripts going back to pre-pyramid Egypt foretelling a radical change in life and events as we have always known them on Earth.

Another black hole is singing, although it seems a little tone-deaf.
Last year, astronomers discovered that outbursts from a giant black hole were spreading pressure waves through the thin hot gas of the distant Perseus cluster of galaxies. The frequency of these waves was equivalent to a B flat, 57 octaves below middle C, so the astronomers calculated.
Now another group of astronomers has discovered waves from another massive black hole spreading outward from the center of a galaxy known as M87 at the heart of the Virgo cluster, about 50 million light-years from Earth. They appear as rings and arcs of brightness in images of the galaxy obtained by NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory.
The sound waves in M87, spaced about four million years apart, are a little more than an octave higher than the Perseus black hole, they said, and a little rougher and less pure.
"If one could hear the sound, it would be more like the cannons in the '1812 Overture' than the pure tone of a musical instrument," said Dr. William Forman of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
Speaking of the Virgo and Perseus results, Dr. Christine Jones of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center, also on the team, said, "We are seeing evidence of recurrent outbursts of the black holes in these galaxies."
As a result of enormous pressure and magnetic fields, some of that stuff would never make it into the hole but would be squeezed like toothpaste and shot across space, away from the black hole in two oppositely directed jets.
The more black holes eat, the more they spill, and it is widely thought that their feeding frenzies power the violence seen in the nuclei of many galaxies, including the powerful quasars that are so bright they outshine their parent galaxies. Although the most massive black holes amount to only a tiny fraction of the mass of their galaxies, a tenth of a percent at most, they release huge quantities of energy, Dr. Loeb pointed out.
A wealth of observations of M87 over the years have illuminated, in messy, chaotic detail, the feeding habits of its central black hole, estimated to weigh in at two billion to three billion times the mass of the Sun. Dr. Forman said evidence of the messiness includes a sharp knotted spike, or jet, of energetic particles shooting from the galaxy's core; giant lobes of radio energy extending far out into intergalactic space; other bubbles and cavities, apparently inflated by the jet, in the inner regions of the galaxy; and a pair of arms of X-ray emission, one of which resembles the column of a rising mushroom cloud from a nuclear explosion.

February 4th, 1962A far more dramatic alignment than 5/5/2000, a solar eclipse occurred while all five "naked eye" planets, plus the sun and moon were massed within 17° of one another. Robert S. Richardson describes in the Griffith Observer (May 1962) what happened that day at the Griffith Observatory: "By two o'clock the road leading to and from the observatory was a solid mass of cars lined up bumper-to-bumper for half a mile ... [one] woman was weeping so badly it was hard to understand her. She was practically on the verge of collapse. "I know it's silly to carry on this way,' she gasped between sobs, 'but I can't help myself." Similar hysteria was reported worldwide, particularly in India.

One of the most famous planetary alignments in recent history was promoted by astrophysicist John Gribbin in his notorious book "The Jupiter Effect". According to Gribbin, "in 1982, when the Moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars and with the other seven planets of the solar system," ...It is interesting to note that at their closest, the planets then were spread across 130° of the sky (as seen from Earth). Today, March 25 through the first week of March, they are nearly as tightly aligned in a linear arc, at 135 degrees.

This date had been greatly popularized by author Richard Noone in "5/5/2000 - Ice: The Ultimate Disaster". The work claims this alignment is a harbinger of the coming of the AntiChrist and global upheavals [such as our current global warming and the White House Administration's War on Afghanistan and War on Iraq and War on Middle Easterners] draws evidence from sources ranging from vector calculus and the Egyptian pyramids, to the theories of Charles Hapgood (who claimed that too much ice gathered at a planetary pole could unbalance the Earth).
While "Ice: The Ultimate Disaster" provides no hints at how the planetary alignment will foretell the end of the world, Noone seems certain that when Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn align "for the first time in 6,000 years all the planets of our solar system will be arrayed in practically a straight line in space" and we can expect within a few pairs of years--- catastrophic floods and earthquakes that spell tragedy for humanity.

While the Issacharites who relocated to the Caucasus Mountains apparently migrated into Scandinavia via the Southern Russian region which bears a name of a tribal clan of Issachar, other Isscharites may have taken alternate routes into Europe along with the other tribes of Israel. I note that Yair Davidy's book, The Tribes, agrees that many Isscharites migrated to Finland, but it traces other elements of that tribe to the modern nation of Switzerland in Central Europe.
There is strong biblical evidence that Finland is the modern homeland of much of the tribe of Issachar. I use the word 'much' of the tribe of Issachar as there is also biblical evidence that part of it may be located elsewhere. The tribe of Issachar did not go into Asia from its old tribal homeland by Galilee in one piece. II Kings 15:27-29 records that King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria invaded the ancient Kingdom of Israel approximately two decades before the city of Samaria fell. Tiglath-pileser took captive the tribes living in Gilead (Reuben, Gad and half of Manasseh), Naphtali, which lived north of the Sea of Galilee and unspecified numbers of Israelites from other tribes who lived in 'Galilee.' The tribe of Issachar lived in the region of Galilee so it is very likely that a portion of this tribe went into Asia at this time. The remainder of the tribe left its ancient homeland around the time when Samaria fell, and this author's book, The "Lost" Ten Tribes of Israel...Found!, makes the case that this remainder of the tribe of Issachar migrated with remnants of the other tribes to the region by the Black Sea in the Caucasus Mountains

Most galaxies are moving AWAY from each other in space. However, the ANDROMEDA GALAXY [aka M-31] is moving towards our Galaxy at 190 miles/second. At its center is a tiny black hole disk that has sucked out the juice and star "blood plasma" of over 30 million suns just like our own. Now ANDROMEDA (the "Bloated Goddess", in some Buddhist cults) is headed for us and our sun! Andromeda is approaching at a 77.5 degree "tilt" from our line of sight. She is askew.

THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM WAS A COMET
The curious terminology in Matthew 2:9 that the star of Bethlehem 'stood over' Bethlehem will now be considered. Phrases such as 'stood over' and 'hung over' appear to be uniquely applied in ancient literature to describe a comet, and I can find no record of such phrases being used to describe any other astronomical object. The historians Dio Cassius and Josephus were broadly contemporary with the author of Matthew's gospel. Dio Cassius when describing the comet of 12 BC

which appeared before the death of Marcus Agrippa wrote 'the star called comet stood for several days over the city [Rome]'. Josephus states 'a star, resembling a sword, stood over the city [Jerusalem]', probably referring to the comet of AD 64 mentioned by Tacitus, comets frequently being described as 'swords' in ancient literature because of their upward tails (in a direction away from the sun). Marcellinus describing a comet of AD 390 writes 'a sign appeared in the sky hanging like a column and blazing for 30 days'.Celestial objects (including comets) appear to move across the night sky because of the rotation of the earth. In addition, comets move against the backdrop of stars. What did Dio Cassius and Josephus mean when they referred to comets 'standing over' Rome and Jerusalem, respectively?
The use of the characteristic term 'stood over' by Dio Cassius and Josephus to describe a comet would seem to leave little doubt that when Matthew uses the term 'stood over' he is also describing a comet. Thus a comet uniquely fits the description in Matthew that the star was new, it travelled slowly through the star field from the east to the south, it went ahead of the Magi, and 'stood over' Bethlehem, the place where the child was.
The identification of a comet with the star of Bethlehem goes back to Origen in the third century, and this is the earliest known theory for the star. Origen stated:
The star that was seen in the East we consider to be a new star...partaking of the nature of those celestial bodies which appear at times such as comets. . . If then at the commencement of new dynasties or on the occasion of other important events there arises a comet. . .why should it be a matter of wonder that at the birth of Him who was to introduce a new doctrine. . .a star should have arisen?
In about AD 1303, Giotto painted a comet above the head of the infant Jesus in a fresco in the Arena Chapel in Padua, presumably using as a model the AD 1301 appearance of Halley's comet.
The Three Signs in the Sky
Why should this particular comet have caused the Magi to make their journey? It is suggested that a combination of three astronomical events was involved: the triple conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in 7 BC, the massing of three planets in 6 BC and finally the appearance of the comet in Capricornus in 5 BC.
Here above, we see 3 of the 5 planets in a very rare conjunction, at the same time as a nearby pass of a comet near earth's position on the ecliptic. Notice the spectacular triangle formed by Venus, Mars, and Saturn!
The most compact gathering of Venus, Mars and Saturn that will be visible in the western evening sky from May 3-10 this year [2002] is just one of only five such planet trios easily visible in a dark sky between the years 1980 and 2050. The best view, he says, will be during the evenings of May 5th and 6th, when these three planets form an eye-catching compact triangle. The next time a tight planet trio will be seen in a dark sky will be in early August 2010, again involving Venus, Mars and Saturn.
The eighth century AD astrological world history 'On Conjunctions, Religions and Peoples' by Masha'allah was based on an earlier Babylonian theory that important religious and political changes are predicted by conjunctions of the planets Saturn and Jupiter. Thus Masha'allah used Iranian astronomical computations to claim that

the birth of Christ and the birth of Muhammad were all predicted by conjunctions of Saturn and Jupiter in the appropriate astrological circumstances. Rosenberg, following the medieval Jewish writer Abarbanal, has explained how inMagian astrology
the planet Saturn represented the divine Father and Jupiter was his son. The constellation Pisces was astrologically associated with Israel. Thus it is suggested that the astrological message of the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in Pisces in 7 BC was this: a Messiah-king will be born in Israel. The fact that the conjunction happened three times in 7 BC (in May, October and December) probably served to reinforce this message. In addition, Abarbanal in 1497 claimed that there was aconjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in Pisces in 1396 BC, three years before his assumed date of the birth of Moses.
Thus it is suggested that the 7 BC triple conjunction alerted the Magi to the coming of another Moses who would deliver his people: the Messiah.Shortly after the triple conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in 7 BC, Mars joined Jupiter and Saturn in the sky so that in February 6 BC the three planets (still in Pisces) were separated by only about eight degrees. There is a tradition that the massing of these three planets preceded the birth of Christ. In 1465 Jakob von Speyer, the Court Astronomer for Prince Frederic d'Urbino, asked Regiomontanus 'Given that the appearance of Christ is regarded as a consequence of the Grand Conjunction of the three superior planets, find the year of his birth', a question that Regiomontanus was unable to answer.

Only 30 parsecs away. Near Eridani. NEVER confuse this RIVER constellation in Virgo in the southern celestial hemisphere with the stars of Gliese 876 in Aquarius, which is NOT in the Great Square of Pegasus!!!
ERIDANI (aka ACHERNAR) -- "the end of the celestial river" which starts in the foot of Orion. Achernar is best seen from the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE, just west of the bright star CANOPUS
Carina, seen only in the southern celestial sphere, contains alpha Carinae, also known as CANOPUS, or once called the STAR OF OSIRIS. It is the second brightest star in the heavens, after Sirius, and is 35x the diameter of our sun. It also aligns closely by longitude with Sirius.
POSIDONIUS, of Alexandria, around 250 BC, used CANOPUS exhaustively in his attempt to measure a DEGREE on the EARTH'S SURFACE. Canopus is used today, de rigeur, by NASA, as a marker for setting space-flight coordinates in the ABYSS of space.
ALL NASA spacecraft carry "CANOPUS STAR TRACKER" devices for navigational rectitude in their computations.
The North Pole is used only by Santa Claus and his bearded dwarves for navigation.
Paradoxically, for its size and brilliance, Canopus is a cold binary white star.
