The reporter who interviewed Hanwei knew him since he joined then SBC and had this to say about him:

Compared to those days when Hanwei just joined, he definitely has changed a lot and a lot.

He used to be very skinny, very "sua ku" (ie out-moded), full of grumbles. Now he has "hunk" and  is masculine. So trendy with his stylish long hair. Most important of all, he has become more cheerful and open-hearted.

Also, he could receive interview with the media with tact, really has the style of a "star" . Is this because after gaining more fame, having  more local and foreign exposure, and seen the world, he has become a better human being!

Thankful to those "noble helpers" around him

After seven years of hard work, Hanwei s finally recognised by hundreds and thousands of audience and also clinched the 'Most Popular Male Artiste' award in 1995. This is through  that warm-hearted, caring 'Fang Lao Shi' who loves education in <<Yang Guang Lie Che>>.

"During these two years, if not for the help of  <<Yang Guang Lie Che>>, I won't have today. <<Yang Guang Lie Che>> can be considered the turning point in my life. So I believe luck helped me. If not for luck, I may still be struggling hard now. This change in my fate made me more confident in my acting career and force myself to continue to work hard to achieve my target. I hope to have a role that is better than 'Fang Lao Shi' and let me discover and express  my hidden potential
