A friend bought me a sweatshirt --way too small---is there any way I can exchange it for an XLarge? Would be pleased and proud to wear it, but!! Please help, anyone. I wonder if anny of my campers are still around. Fitch has always been a special place for me. I hope when my son is old enough, I can send him to one of the best camps that the YMCA has f r children. I also worked at another camp during my college years. However, I could never compare it to the campers and staff I knew at Fitch. Now I am currentlly stationed in the US Army in Izmir, Turkey. Favorite camp prank?: i've always liked submarines Who was your favorite counselor/director?: i love you all | Comments: Yeah...so, i read through everyone's "comments" about camp fitch. And repeatedly do i see..."I love Camp Fitch", "it's a blast", "it's a special place", "I met so many special people there", "I've grown up with it", "I can't see myself anywhere else", "C mp Fitch is what i do in the summer", "I learned so much about myself", and "thanks for the memories". Now, since i didn't show up last summer, you're probably expecting something negative about camp to come out of my mouth. wrong. i'll keep those comm nts to myself. ;-) But anyway, you all took the words right out of my mouth in describing camp. i can say nothing else about it. i fell in love with the place at 8 years old. and at 18 i stopped going...there were a whole lot of reasons why. but nev rtheless i miss it terribly. the thing that i can't stress enough love for at Camp Fitch...is the people. the people who i admire most in the world--were camp fitch staff when i was a camper. (and then i was on staff with ya'll--don't ya feel old?!?) i also met some of my best riends at camp. i miss those people, some of which are gone for good, some of which still go. on a more recent note: i would like to inform those who i haven't had touch with for years what i've been doing. i'm currently a freshman at Ohio University--LOVE IT!! and this will make everyone proud: my major is Recreation Studies, with an empha is in Outdoor Education and Camping. yes there is such a major. i plan on coming back to fitch in the near future. So anyways, if you know me--what are you waiting for...get ahold of me!?! and if you don't--get ahold of me anyway...i'm all about friends! If you have ever heard Madonna's song, "This used to be my playground"...that's how i feel about Camp Fitch. Lovins! |

I CRIED SO MUCH!!! all the memories!!! i want to be 14 gain SO BADLY to be a cherokee, to be a CIT, to be at camp with no care in the world..... i highly recommend that show. and i recommend that all of you ATTEND FITCH DAY 2000!!!
