My Travel Page

Did I mention that I like travelling? Well, here's a page dedicated to my travels.

In the summer of our sophomore year(1998), Yoriko, Eugene, and I participated in one of the common college past-times: seeing Europe by train, also known as Eurorailing (well, being the European citizen, I got to use the much cheaper, much more comprehensive Interrail pass, so technically, I went Interrailing). The following is a description of our travels. Hopefully not too boring. We like to take pride in having visited a few more unusual locations.

Our Itinerary:
So, where did we go? Well, after being evicted from our dorms, we flew to:

  • Belgium-my current home
  • Amsterdam-a day trip
  • Luxembourg-on the way to France
  • France-Reims and Paris
  • Spain-Barcelona, Montserrat, and Port Bou
  • Italy-Assisi and Rome (ever so briefly)
  • Slovenia-my other home
  • Austria-my former home
  • Hungary-my future home (why? because I like it)
  • Prague-by way of Vienna
  • Poland-Krakow, Gdansk, and Warsaw-yes, all over the place
  • Germany-Berlin-our last station, where Eugene and Yoriko left me, travelling back to Brussels, while I went to Slovenia

If you actually found the above interesting, I have attempted to share some more of my journeys with you, starting with Tunisia and Iceland.

Coming soon: More journeys, possibly including Croatia, Tunisia, and Iceland.

    And back to my home
