Mainly involved in teaching epidemiology and biostatistics to undergraduate medical students and other health care providers attending continuing education courses. Directing a clinical trial looking to evaluate the impact of combined schedules, of injectable and oral polio vaccines, on wild poliovirus circulation. If found effective, this may be an important strategy in polio eradication. Consultant to the Health Department, Government of Sindh, in a World Bank funded project aimed at improving public sector health care.
