MAT 003 : Basic Geometry

The purpose of this course is to prepare students with weak geometry backgrounds for the more advanced MAT 107. Students in MAT 003 review the basic material taught in grades K-8 and high school descriptive geometry courses. A major goal of this course is to bring the student's geometric skills up to a level where the student feels comfortable working with informal deduction in geometric situations. This course is offered on a pass-fail basis and does not carry graduate credit. Prerequisite: None. Cr 3.
