MAT 459 : Methods in Applied Mathematics I


A survey of mathematical methods for students in engineering and physics. Topics covered may vary according to the interest of the class, but typically include linear algebra and determinants, series solutions of differential equations, vector analysis, and tensor analysis. Prerequisites : MAT 259 or permission.
