Sigma Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

On November 21, 1997 at 10:49pm Eight Distinguished and Determined women crossed the burning sands into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. On November 22,1997 at 12:15am the 917 chapter of Delta Sigma Theta was named Sigma Chi. On this date West Virginia Wesleyan College made history, Delta Sigma Theta was and is the First and only Historically black Sorority on the campus. The line was named Destiny and there is no better name. There are four special women who helped make this dream a reality and I would like to give a special OOO-OOP! to Jacqueline Cook-Jones, Amena Oliver(Almighty Onyx), Terrisita Rogers-Jackson, and Denise Grant.
