when i moved to minnesota i went through a few exciting nights where i came to the realization that i could re-create myself, start anew. it just didn't fit though. i like the person i am and i like the things that attract my interest. however, i have realized an evolution in myself. spending so much time alone has allowed me to take the time to become better acquainted with, well, me. i feel more vocal about my needs and desires. and i am trying hard to think less about consequences. appropriately, i took the title of the page from one of my favorite grateful dead songs written by robert hunter. here's the full verse from built to last:
"there are times when you get hit upon try hard but you cannot give other times you'd gladly part with what you need to live don't waste your breath to save your face when you have done your best and even more is asked of you fate will decide the rest."
not a bad way to begin.........
