damn right. this site is about my thoughts on the thoughts of the media.

[ W O R D S]

We go through life hearing words.. speaking words.. we have a chance to breathe our words. Time for me to reestablish my foundation. Welcome!

Media goes to the dogs

Anyone notice the fickle nature of journalists? A few weeks ago, the Al de Guzman, De Anza bomb threat story had the bay area in awe. If it was fame that de Guzman sought, he sure probably hates dogs right now. His infamous 15 minutes came up to be 15 seconds. Who let the dogs out?

The story that cleansed our memories free of the almost-columbine revolved around the ferocity of dogs, or maybe more so, the ferocity of their owners. We even landed live coverage at a dog muzzle town meeting. I guess that's better than the media trying to tie in de Guzman's plan to the Filipino culture. By the way, where's my gun?

And on an ironic note: Georgey Dubbya sure can't catch a break can he? He wasted our prime time Tuesday night to talk about a tax cut plan that he covered with his misuse of big words and farcical attempt at being our nation's leader. Yet, the earthquake that unfortunately hit the Seattle area reigns supreme over the West Coast airwaves. Bush who?
