South Bay Mountain
Biking Club
We ride in the (Angeles, San Bernardino, & San Gabriel) National
Forests and in the (Santa Monica, Santa Inez, & Santa Suzana) mountains,
and wherever the sport takes us. SOUTH BAY MOUNTAIN BIKING CLUB (SBMBC)
is based in Hermosa Beach. We promote the sport of mountain biking. If
you like FUN, EXCITING, CHALLENGING rides, we welcome you. There are many
benefits when you become a SBMBC member: FIRST: One major difference between
our club and the others is that there are NO MEMBERSHIP FEES or monthly
payments. SECOND: Our club PHILOSOPHY revolves around each and all members.
THIRD: Riders CHOOSING and LEADING the weekly rides makes us unique and
one of a kind in Southern California. FOURTH: We encourage RECREATIONAL
and COMPETITIVE riders to join us in all levels. FIFTH: We support CORBA
and IMBA policies, which include trail etiquette and ecologically minded
riding. SIXTH: The club encourages and advocates members to CARPOOL as
much as possible, which is environmentally and financially sound. You must
call the ride leader/contact person a few days in advance if you have never
ridden with us. For further information, please check out SBMBC Web Site:
