Shaquille O'Neal had 27 points and 15 rebounds to power the Los Angeles Lakers to their second straight exhibition victory over the Denver Nuggets, 105-96 in Honolulu.

Rookie guard Derek Fisher added 14 points and Jerome Kersey 11 for the Lakers (2-0), who defeated the Nuggets by 10 points on Thursday. Los Angeles held Denver to 40 percent from the field and enjoyed a 50-42 rebounding edge.

Rookie Darvin Ham scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures for the Nuggets (0-2), who committed 22 turnovers and shot 3-of-16 from three-point range. LaPhonso Ellis had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Ricky Pierce added 16 points.
