The 1997/1998 Season has seen the North Hunterdon High School Team off to a rough start, as expected. Of the 14 weight classes, only 3 wrestlers earned medals, Ian Denlinger (112) took a second, Eric Eisenhart (119) took a third, as did Justin Bagley (152). Only two other wrestlers even made it into the consolations, John Furnari (140) took 4th, and Neil Picone (189) who had to forego his consolation match because of an injury suffered earlier in the day.

125 -- Mike Ladauto (1-2) placed 6th

135 -- John Gargas (1-2) placed 7th
140 -- John Furnari (1-2) placed 4th
145 -- Paul Versarge (1-2) placed 7th
152 -- Justin Bagley (2-1) placed 3rd
160 -- Mike Latino (0-1) placed 9th
171 -- John Bendokas (1-2) placed 6th
189 -- Neil Picone (1-1) placed 4th
215 -- John Schiable (1-2) placed 6th
275 -- David Mueller (1-2) placed 7th
North Hunterdon's team is green (excuse the pun), and it showed. The team has little experience and is hoping for the upper classmen to rally the younger members to achieve above their experience level.
