CHRIS BENOIT vs. FIT FINLEY (ch)
This match was slow-paced overall. Finley held the advantage for most of the match, with Benoit having little offensive fleuries. Throughout the match, Finley taunted to the crowd.. not like him. Nearing the end, Booker T in a dress shirt and a tie comes towards the ring area. Benoit was just about to do him flying headbutt but gets distracted by Booker T and Fit Finley does his tombstone piledriver.
WINNER: FIT FINLEY
TIME OF MATCH: about 20 minutes

BRIAN ADAMS vs. LEX LUGER
This was pathetic. Luger gets the advantage early and doesn't let go. Vincent tries to help, but does not succeed. Luger clotheslines Vincent to the outside, ducks Adam's clothesline and slaps on the torture rack.
WINNER: LEX LUGER
TIME OF MATCH: 5 minutes

SATURN does a soliliquoy where he basically says he wants out of the flock and to hell with Raven. He said there will not be a guantlet match tonight, because he will face Goldberg alone for the US belt later that night

DEAN MALENKO vs. CHRIS JERICHO
This was too easy for Malenko. He got the early advantage and held it for most of the match. Jericho had his fleuries, but it was all Jericho. Jericho got to do his Liontamer but Malenko reversed it. Soon after, Malenko slapped on his patented Texas Cloverleaf for the win.
WINNER: DEAN MALENKO
TIME OF MATCH: 10 minutes

DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE vs. RAVEN
Raven used his garbage can full of "toys" to gain the early advantage. Back and forth for most of the match. Then the flock comes to the ring, but Hammer, who was recently kicked out of the flock, stopped them. Two riot squad members managed to get into the ring. They turned out to be Kidman and Horace... who both got banged. Raven does an evenflow DDT and a diamond cutter... DDP gets up... diamond cuts Raven. Both men are down, but at the nine count, DDP gets up and Raven does not. After the match, a riot member rushed into the ring and handcuffed all the flock members, and proceeds to beat up Raven. He turns out to be Mortis... he takes off his mask and breaks a chair on Raven's head.
WINNER: DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE
TIME OF MATCH: 20 minutes

ULTIMO DRAGON vs. Eddie Guerrero
This match was relatively fast-paced and back and forth. Chavo cheered on Ultimo. Eddie went for a frog splash and misses, Dragon proceeds to slap on the dragon sleeper, but Eddie reverses it into another dragon sleeper. Eddie tries to get extra leverage by putting his feet on the ropes, but Chavo slaps them off... in the end, Eddie does a frog splash for the win.
WINNER: EDDIE GUERRERO
TIME OF MATCH: 15 minutes

PERRY SATURN vs. BILL GOLDBERG
Back and forth, but this was still too easy for Goldberg. Nothing phased him. Saturn does a springboard dropkick off the chair, the tries again, but gets speared. Goldberg does his Jackhammer and it's over
WINNER: GOLDBERG
TIME OF MATCH: 10 minutes

ERIC BISCHOFF vs. VINCE MacMAHON
Eric was announced as being 195 lbs, and MacMahon as 265 lbs!! Seems a little outrageous doesn't it? As expected, Vinnie didn't show up. They counted to ten, and MacMahon lost by countout/forfeit/disqualification.
WINNER: ERIC BISCOFF
TIME OF MATCH: 5 minutes

BRET HART vs. RANDY SAVAGE
Piper was very lenient, letting everything go. The match went back and forth as Hart worked on Randy's bad leg. Savage went for his famous elbow, but missed. Sharpshooter by Hart is reversed... then Elizabeth comes to the ring and distracts Piper. Hart does a low blow then knocks out Piper. Hogan hits Savage. Sharpshooter by Hart.
WINNER: BRET HART
TIME OF MATCH: 25 minutes

STING/GIANT vs. OUTSIDERS
HUGE POP for the Outsiders!! Hall did his survey. All competitors tried for marquee moves early, as Sting did his stinger splash and Hall did the chokeslam. Hall and Nash had a lasting advantage over Sting... then Giant got in and cleamed house. Giant flies off top rope, misses. Nash goes for powerbomb, but Hall runs in and hits Nash with the title belt.. and Giant pins Nash for th win. Hall hugs Giant, Sting is confused.
WINNERS: STING/GIANT
TIME OF MATCH: 25 minutes

Overall, a pretty good payperview. Some rumours reported here were true. Can the WWF beat it with Over the Edge... probably not.... see you next month!
