Jeff "Beanhead" Blauser was born in Los Gatos, CA (about an hour from where I live). The "Beanhead" part of his name is a nickname that my mother and I fondly gave to Jeff as he is one of our favorite players. (And you must admit, his head does resemble a bean.)
