Welcome to Terry's Boat Page
Cyber Docking Space for the:

"MISS CATHERINE"

This picture is an example of our first year on the water. Anchored at "Short Creek" just north of Guntersville, Alabama on the Tennessee River. We spent most of 1999 in and around Alred's Marine in Guntersville, Alabama. We were welcomed by the boating community of Alred's and made many friends. I hated to leave, but in October,1999 we moved to Goose Pond Marine in Scottsboro, Alabama, also on the Tennesse River.

For those who are visiting this page for the first time, let me give you a quick overview. This page has been on line for approx. 2 years. It outlines my efforts in restoring a 1965 36 ft. Chris Craft Constellation. I purchased the boat in Oct. 1996. I worked for 2 years 3 months before finishing. On Jan. 8th, 1999 at 9 a.m. we launched the "Miss Catherine". No project of this magitude can be done without help. Before going any further I would like to thank and acknowledge several people. I want to say "Thank You to Sam Bowdon. Sam is the owner of B&B Marine .
Without his help, advise, encouragement and overall friendship I honestly don't think I would have finished. Sam, you are now immoralized in cyberspace. Next I want to thanks my son Tony.. Tony is responsible for making the first web page and has kept my computer running. That in it's self was a job. Thanks son, we actually miss you (he got married). All these thank you's wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention my brother-in-law, Bill.. If he was to ask for all his tools back, I would have had to quit working on the boat. Me and Bill are "Tight". (private joke).Next I want to say thanks to my friend Chuck. Chuck was always there with a word of encouragement and a strong back when I needed one. I must say "HI" . to my daughter Tabitha. . I invite you to visit her webpage "HERE": From Broadway, to books, to the latest in teen fashion, her site covers a little of everything. If you do visit her site be sure to let her know I sent you. Last but not least I want to say "THANK YOU". to my wife Cathy. for whom the boat is named "MISS CATHERINE." . Rarely has she said anything about the amount of time or money I spent. Thank You Cathy for your help, encouragement and understanding (not to mention permission). Thank you also, for being the person you are. I needed to say all that "mushy" stuff, 'cause she controls the purse strings'.

I'm posting several more pictures so please browes around. I hope you enjoy this page. I have enjoyed making it. I hope by sharing my experience I can give something back to each person who visits. If nothing else remember this:

Anything Ever Accomplished by Man, Began as Someone's Dream. .

OK, I've shared my experience with you, now it's pay back time. Send me an e-mail and let me know what you think. Just "click" on the compass and drop me a line. (I hope to have my guest book and counter up soon.
