Became the first Atlanta Braves third baseman to hit at least 20 home runs (21) and steal 20 bases (20) and the first Brave to do so since Ron Gant (36 home runs, 26 stolen bases) in 1993

Led the Braves with 111 RBI (career high), runs (100), multi-hit games (54) and multi-RBI games (26)

His 40th double September 16 vs. San Francisco established an Atlanta season record, breaking the old mark of 30 set by Terry Pendleton in 1992 and his season total of 41 were the most by a Brave since Hank Aaron had 40 for Milwaukee in 1965
