 | The Bulldogs lost more than any other Duneland school with seven players from their '97 State Finalist team moving on, however Tom May will have them right back in the thick of things anyway. Leading the way will be 5'9 senior guard Beth Tully. Tully will run the show, but she will have help from fellow classmates 5'6 Jen Kutanovski (3.1 ppg.), and 5'10 Danielle Tovson and Shannon Meyers down inside. Three juniors with limited experience are Allyson Carnahan (1.5 ppg.), Sarah Gourley, and Christine Douglas (1.4 ppg.).
It will be good not to see Katey Marsh and Sarah Little on the court as they have really hurt us the past few years. Our success versus Crown Point always comes down to our ability to handle their intense pressure. We have to avoid turnovers and giving up easy baskets. |
