Jozie> How did you hear about the autograph signing? Was it advertised on the web, radio...?

Amber> I heard about it when Jim Ross announced it on Shotgun Saturday Night. It was about 1:30 am, I'm starting to fall asleep, but the minute JR said you could meet the Undertaker next Thurs. in San Diego, I flew out of bed all excited because I happened to have that week off for vacation (I still had my job then), & couldn't believe the great luck! :) Then, I immediately started planning what to wear, how to look, what to say, etc. etc. I wished I had the presence of mind to have gotten him something to give as a gift, instead of being so damn worried about flirting with him, which got me absolutely no where (story of my life with men anyway). I also wished I had the drawing I did of him, at various stages of his career, but I hadn't started it yet. So instead, I sent it to Druidess for the scrapbook P n T is going to be presenting to him sometime this spring (if Mark's schedule allows). So he should still get my drawing.....I did 2 drawings actually. But it would've been nicer to have given it to him in person. I hope there'll be a next time, but I don't think he does too many autograph sessions. And I'm sure I'll never get to come face to face with him at arenas either. Security will see to that, I'm sure. :( Amber

As the Brides continued to probe Amber she added the following...

Amber> I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be, but some. He watched me walk up to the table & I was smiling at him. He turned his attention to his bottle of water & I didn't want to.....ummm...."interrupt" him while he was drinking, so I didn't say anything when I put my scrapbook down in front of him. When he put his water down, he mumbled "Hi", & me....almost too shy to look him in the face, mumbled, "Hi", & he looked at my scrapbook that had a couple of early pics of him. So I just told myself I've got to open up my damn mouth & say something to Mr. Wonderful, or I may lose this chance forever, & proceeded to make a horse's ass of myself by trying to flirt.....ugh. I did some corny "swooning" gesture , & I said, "I can't believe I finally get to meet you". Great line, huh? How witty of me. *gag*. He looked up at me, said nothing, didn't smile, probably thought to himself, "Oh God.....another one of "those", & looked back at my book. When he saw pics in it of when he was the Punisher & "Mean" Mark, that's when he looked up at me & smiled....which caught me so off guard I don't even know if I smiled back! That's when I wish the picture had been taken! So, I'll just have to cherish that moment in my memory. He looked back down at those pics & said, "Wow", & I kinda laughed since I couldn't think of what to say at that point. I figured if I said nothing, I wouldn't make a fool out of myself again! Mark sort of held the book out to show to some guy that was there....Dotson was looking at it too. And so was the cop standing behind Mark. He must've been wondering just what the hell it was I gave Mark that got a reaction out of the "silent" one! Hee hee. So the cop said, "I think she's a fan", & laughed. Well.....that opened the door for me to open my mouth again! So I blurted out, "Oh, I love this man! (I think Mark mumbled "thank you", but I'm not sure. Not only was he very soft spoken, but I was in the twilight zone at the same time). And then I added, " He's the most incredible-looking man I've ever seen in my life!" Mark just kept looking at my scrapbook, didn't say anything (I think I might have embarrassed him a little with that last remark), & this guy that Mark showed the book to asked me something, but I couldn't hear what he said. This local radio station had a truck out there in the parking lot blaring Mexican music full blast, for some damn reason. So between that & my being in the twilight zone, I'm surprised I heard as much as I did! LOL!!! Well, anyway, whatever this guy asked me, Mark heard it & turned to look at the guy kinda funny, like he would've rather the guy hadn't said whatever it was he said....dang, I wish I knew what he asked me!!! Maybe he was trying to set me up with him??? But I don't think I was Mark's type, even if that had been the case. *pout*. So now I'm not paying attention & Mark said "Here"....he was handing me back my book & I'm not paying attention....duh. So I said "Thank you", & he said "Okay" or "Yeah".....something like that. And that was the entire scenario. It wasn't how I hoped it would turn out at all!! Phooey!!! Autograph sessions rush you through like you're on an assembly line & they won't let you pose for pictures. You only get to take pics of them signing whatever it is you want them to sign. I WANTED TO HUG HIM!!! I didn't even get to touch him! *sulk* So.....I made the 2 hr. drive back home from San Diego almost in tears from disappointment.
