Hot Tricks - Lightning 1 - 1
Kickoff time: 12:00 P.M. at Et Fountain Park.
Wheather conditions: Warm & Sunny.
On a tipical warm day of the Las Vegas Valley Lightning and Hot Tricks
had their chances to demonstrate their skills, two of the most match up
team of the season since the start with a similar record.
Lightning dominated te game predominent with a very strong tactiful defense
and a well midfield control tha gave Lightning the advantage and be on
Hot Tricks side for 3/4 of the game.
Within the first 5 minute of the game Hot Tricks go ahead with a penalty
awarded for a hand ball in the penalty area.
Lightning fought back controlling and clearing all the attempts of Hot
Tricks to cross over Lightning side, and Lightning taking advantage of
several break through had several opportunities to score but shots were
wide on most occasions or easy for the goal keeper to catch.
The second half was Lightning all the way to the end with the exception
of one occassion when Hot Tricks had their chance to go ahead 2-0 but
a very well battle by TJ as a goalie a nice recovery from JC and Bucky
saved Lightning the goal and attacking from there on Davey after receiving
a dribbling two players took a lob-in shot that went behind Hot Tricks's
goalie and level the game at 1-1. Most of the rest of the 10 minute was
a continue attack on the part of Lightning which took another 4-5 shots
on goal from Kerry, Davey, JC, Guy and Tyler but alway wide.
Lightning is showing confidence and perserverance on every game and
more they are playing together and the better they are getting. Now
they will play the Gators in tuesday match at Ed Fountain which they
are a good match up team and a chance for Lightning to win their second
if they keep up with the style of play they are getting to use to play.
