RIGHT: Richard Cunningham attaches the motor as Byron Mills jumps in the boat to clip in the fuel bag in the Assembly Rescue Event. Richard and Byron went on to win a Bronze Medal in this event.

LEFT: Heat of the Teams Race, Scott Lines about to receive the boat from Dave Allen. Unfortunately the crew were disqualified (twice??), Dave left the motor running on exiting the boat and the second driver, Cherie Foster left the motor in gear at the end of the race. If you are going to stuff something up, you might as well do it properly!!!
ABOVE: Paul O'Dwyer finishing in the Assembly Rescue Race. In the boat are his crewman Darcy Lines and patient Simon Moseley. They went on to finish fourth in the final of this event, just behind Richard Cunningham, Byron Mills and Cherie Foster.
