Port Noarlunga S.L.S.C. Club House

In 1979 The Port Noarlunga Clubrooms were demolished as part of the Noarlunga Council's foreshore redevelopment. In it's place a modern complex was built, which housed not only the Life Saving Club, but also had room for a restaurant and a kiosk. The complex is a two story building. The ground floor is made up of the Boat Shed, Gym, First Aid Room and Change Rooms. A Chinese Restaurant and kiosk take up the Northern end of the upper floor, while the Club House is in the Southern end.

View of Club House looking South The Club House, like any good Life Saving Club, has a bar and kitchen to feed the troops. The Bar has been named after one of the club's champions, Grant "Brownie" Brown. Brownie is a bit of a Legend in this club, although to look at him you would think otherwise!!! Read more about him on the Australian Champions Page.

View of Club House looking North On the Northern wall of the Club House is the Honor Roll. As with most Honor Rolls you can expect to find the names of past Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, Club Captains, Life Members and also winners of the Clubman Award. The Honor Roll is dedicated to Mrs Freida Corpe, who in the early years of the clubs existance was a valuable contributor to it's survival.

Meals
Every Friday night during the summer season the club has cheap meals for members. Friends of members and anyone interested in joining the club are more than welcome to come down and have a meal and watch the sunset. During the season the club will also run many different fundraising events.

Hall Hire
During the off season (ie April/May to September/October) the Club House is available for hire for all sorts of functions, from wedding receptions to 21st Birthday parties. With a fully stocked kitchen and bar facilities, caterers will have no problem catering for functions. For more information about booking the Club House for a function, ring 61 8 8382 1376
