East District have decided to conform to the SHU byelaw which states that only players aged 14 and over can play in hockey matches. This rules takes affect imediately and teams fielding U14 players will be disqualified from competition - this has already happended to Grove who fielded ineligible players in a competition at the weekend. The responsibility for making sure all players are old enough to compete will be on the team captains and coaches. Please make sure we don't fall foul of this rule! The next East District meeing will be held on 9th February 2004
Please use the NEW team sheets (which are on the East website) for your matches - old ones will not be accepted by Kate. Also make sure they have been completed correctly. |
