WWF Breakdown

* WWF Breakdown from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

* Edge vs. Owen Hart
Owen Hart is an opener on a PPV from Canada? The Canadian fans showed no loyalty for their fellow countryman as they started the chant of, "Nugget" as soon as Owen entered the ring. This match was a great match for the rookie Edge, as it gave him the opportunity to face off against one of the most talented wresters in the WWF. A back and forth battle came to an end when a person looking just like Edge stood ringside. A distracted Edge was rolled up for the pinfall.
Winner: Owen Hart by pinfall with a roll up.

* Too Much vs. Scorpio/Al Snow
What do you all want? HEAD! Looks like Al Snow and Scorpio have been out of the ECW for too long. Both slipped while trying to springboard off a chair. Entertaining though full of mistakes.
Winners: Snow/Scorpio by pinfall after Snowplow on Scott Taylor.

* Marc Mero vs. Darren Drozdov
Mero showed signs that he may still be "A BAAAAAAD MAN!" Jacqueline climbed to the top rope and nailed Droz with her shoe. Mero then climbed to the top and executed an awesome backflip. Let's give the move a new name tonight!
Winner: Marc Mero by pinfall after "Simply Marvelous."

* Vader vs. Bradshaw (No Holds Barred-Falls count anywhere)
If it weren't for Mic Foley, Bradshaw would have had the quote of the night when he said, "Vader, you're gonna find out it's survival of the fittest, not the FATTEST!" Bradshaw backed up his words as he kicked out after Vader nailed him with a splash and a Vader Bomb off the second rope. Bradshaw turned things around with two clotheslines and a neck breaker.
Winner: Bradshaw by pinfall after a neck breaker.

* D-Lo vs. Gangrel
Two of the most talented, young wrestlers squared off in a well executed match. Mark Henry came out and smashed Gangrel into the ring post and rolled him back into the ring. D-Lo then executed the Sky-High. After the match Gangrel spit "blood" in Henry's face and hit D-Lo with his DDT.
Winner: D-Lo by pinfall after the Sky-High.

* Mankind/Shamrock/Rock (Triple Threat in a cage)
The winner would be the number 1 contender for the title. To win the wrestler must either get out to the ring floor, or win by pinfall. With Mic Foley wrestling you knew it would be entertaining. With both Mankind and Shamrock laying side by side, The Rock sized them up for a double People's Elbow. The crowd loved it. They chanted "Rocky, Rocky, Rocky!" The only chant that had the word "sucks" in it was "Shamrock Sucks!" Shamrock looked confused after the negative chants. After battling for 15 minutes, Mankind hit Shamrock with a chair that Shamrock brought in the cage. Mankind started to climb out, but the Rock rolled on top of Shamrock for the pin. Don't worry, Mic! I didn't forget that you flew off the top of the cage and missed The Rock with your elbow.
Winner: The Rock by pinfall over Shamrock.

* Dustin Runnels vs. Val Venis
None other than Marlena (Terri Runnels) was ringside with Val. She looked better than ever. The Canadian crowd, on their fifth Molson by this time, started chants of "take it off!" Did I say I love these Canadian fans? The bump and grind action between Terri and Val was more exciting than the match.
Winner: Val Venis by pinfall after the Money Shot.

* X-Pac/New Age Outlaws vs. Jeff Jarrett/Southern Justice
Some new dance moves by RoadDog were the only real highlights of the match. Am I the only one tired of watching X-Pac stick his crotch in another man's face? Outside the ring, JJ nailed X-Pac with the guitar while Mr. Ass got the pin in the ring. X-Pac complained of an eye injury as the NAO were helping him out.
Winners: X-Pac/NAO by pinfall.

* Austin vs. Undertaker vs. Kane (Triple Threat match)
Rules: Kane and UT weren't allowed to pin each other and if anybody interfered, Austin would lose the title. This was a great match that started with Austin attacking UT as he came down the ramp. Most of the beginning of the match was Austin knocking down one and taking on the other for a couple of minutes. The match quickly turned into a two on one match. Austin hit Kane with a chair, but UT saved him at the 2 count. Then UT hit Austin with the chair and went for the pin, but Kane broke the count. Kane then went for the pin and UT broke the count. For a short time Austin and Kane double teamed UT. After another short disagreement between Kane and UT, the match turned. Kane and UT double chokeslammed Austin and both men rolled on Austin for the pin. McMahon came out and took the belt claiming it was his. Austin chased McMahon outside the ring only to see McMahon flip him off and speed off in a limo.
Winner: And NEW WWF champion...... we don't know!
