Alan Combe
Signed from St Mirren in 1998 by Tommy McLean, Combe remained second choice keeper during his first season at Tannadice, playing just 9 games when Sieb Dykstra was dropped following a bust-up with new boss Paul Sturrock.
Since Dykstra's summer departure, he now holds the Number 1 jersey and has got Arabs behind him with an excellent start to the season. Just 24 years of age - young for a goalkeeper. Expect to hear much more of this rising star.
