ABOUT MY PERSONA:
I live in the Town of Canterbury in the year 1484 during the reign of King Richard III. I was born in the year 1454 to a wealthy cloth merchant, William of Canterbury and Anne Pyatte. I was married at 16 to Henry Warrington, the younger son of Cecil the guildmaster of the glass blowers association. I have a five year old son Alexander and my husband was killed in a fire two years ago. Shortly afterwards, my mother died of consumption, and my father, needing someone to look after the household for him, entertain merchants, help raise my two younger sisters as well as my own son; asked me to return home for this purpose. That is what I do today - oversee the running of my father's household. I am quite independant yet observe the proprieties of society and can run my father's estates as well as any man could. Together with my two sisters, son and several servants as well as a handful of mercenary guards, we were travelling to Flanders to join my father, who was there on a business trip. We were to give my father a chest of gold coin which was his payment to the merchants there for a shipment of linen. Our ship was blown off course during a severe storm and we found ourselves off the coast of Ealdormere. We are stranded here in this strange land as the ship's navigator had no idea where we were before he died. We have been warmly welcomed by the people here and I have set up a household here until such time we can find our way home.
