I am a HUGE fan of former Wheeling Thunderbirds and NEW Schwennigen Wild Wings Right Wing!
I had the priviledge of being a Houston Aeros season ticket holder for the 94/95 and 95/96 seasons(I moved to Nashville in Sep 96) and seeing quite a bit of Vadim! But it all started at the Aeros first training camp blue/white scrimmage at the Summit when I spotted Vadim! I was very impressed! He was sent back to Wheeling, and without knowing if he would return to the Aeros, I couldn't help but keep up with him. And of course was thrilled when he returned! Unfortunately for Wheeling, that probably ended their run at the championship when he left! But I was happy!
He was my adopted player for the 95/96 season and I want to say that he is the nicest hockey player I have ever met, and his wife Lena is soooo sweet!
