Yes, I've decided to create yet another page - some of you may already know me as the creator of La Casa De Arantxa
and The Magüi Serna Supporters Page!
- this time for Irina Spirlea........Kat you may yet be right, Countess and myself may soon have pages spanning the whole WTA tour.
Anyway, I decided to create this page, as it has come to my notice that there seem to be no other pages for Irina Spirlea on the net, and in my opinion she is a very talented player, who's only problems seem to have been that growing up in the formerly communist country of Romania, seems to have held back her talent somewhat, and her short temper which some tennis fans seem to hold against her
However, my own worst fault is MY short temper, which I
guess is the reason why I find it easy to see past her temper and respect her for the skilled tennis star that she really is, so I hope you will enjoy my page, and will keep coming back, as once this page is up and running properly I will update often.

Irina at the Lipton Championships!
Monday 22nd March 1999
Today Irina, and her partner Caroline Vis won their doubles match against Arendet/Bollegraf 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, in the next round they will play either Fernandez/Seles, or Rubin/Testud.
Saturday 20th March 1999
Today Irina lost out to Ruxandra Dragomir, 6-0, 6-4.
