7/11 FTGFC 0 - 13 MaidenheadOak Farm School was the venue for this clash with old rivals Maidenhead. The first half saw a slow start for Boro against a strong Maidenhead side, who managed to find an early chink in the Farnborough defence punishing us with a half time score of 0 - 7.
The second half however was a different story with much of the play taking place in the Maidenhead half of the pitch with some close calls from Lesa Fealey and Leighann Hayes. Farnborough put up a strong fight and although conceding another 6 goals they fought hard. Unfortunately Lady Luck was not with us today and we were unable to capitalise on the chances we did make.
