Northern Virginia Advantage Baseball Club is proud to announce the formation of a new 14 & under Vipers tournament team for 1998. Like its Advantage Baseball counterparts, the 14 & under Virginia Vipers follows the successful Vipers formula of providing state of the art coaching techniques, combined with building an honor and respect for the game of baseball.

With eight games under their belts, the Vipers traveled to Fredricksburg, VA to particpate in one of the area's most prestigious spring tournaments, the AAU Memorial Day Tournament hosted by the Fredricksburg Riverdogs. The Vipers had a most successfull tournament winning two out of three games. Manager Jim Stratoudakis reported that the team really came together in this tournament, despite the fact that three key players were injured and unavailable for action.

While the first victory was by a large margin, the second came on a last inning rally which saw the Vipers win by a score of 10-9.
