SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

Improved AAU National Tournament Showing and First Place Finish in NVFBL Division I Senior League Highlight Successful Season

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

In 1997, the Virginia Vipers were comprised of eighteen of the top 15 year-old baseball players from the Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and Montgomery/Prince George's Maryland region. Last year, we were the Potomac Valley AAU Region's representative to the National Tournament, one of only 15 teams out of a 55-team field to make it to the Championship two years in a row. We were one of the last 16 teams remaining at the end of the tournament, winning twice as many games as in 1996. In 1997, the Vipers also competed in the Northern Virginia Fall Baseball League where we were the regular season Senior League Division I Champions.
