The following year, Kim got involved in the annual Sports and Fantasy Auction mostly running around and helping the chairperson of that event, Erica.
In 1996 Kim got the Lisas involved as well as the Braves. When the Braves were in NY for the World Series, Kim had Cy Young winner John Smoltz sign a ball as well as Babe Ruth WS home run record breaker Andruw Jones. Chipper also signed a World Series ball for the event (See photo above. The ticket is Kim's ticket from a '96 playoff game against the Cardinals that Chipper signed for her). Kim was also able to get an autographed item from Greg Norman as well as other items for the Sports and Fantasy Auction. That same year, Kim and the Lisas also worked on the Bike-A-Thon and the Champagne Steaks dinner.
In 1997 there was no Bike-A-Thon so Kim and the Lisas concentrated on the Sports and Fantasy Auction. Kim was able to get an autographed glove from Denny Neagle (see photo) as well as a ball signed by the 4 main starters and another ball signed by Chipper. Kim was also able to get several dinners donated from some of the top restaurants in New York.
Erica stopped working with UCP in 1998 so the girls stopped volunteering. They are currently looking for a new charity.
