When asked if they would make the playoffs, Gomez responded with "Oh.....absolutely"

Kevin Orie on losing Harry Caray-"The first few games were really tough -- it was weird. When the seventh-inning stretch came, it was just kind of a weird feeling that he wasn't there. It was really great to see the tribute they gave him, though. That was amazing. It was great to have been a part of it."
Orie on being a Cub-"I was a Pirates fan growing up, and I saw the Cubs on TV, so I always knew it would be a great place to play. I really wanted to play in Chicago and I'm glad to be here. It is such a great place to play."
