Deep in the basement of the FBI building special agent Dana Scully works on the X-Files. Meanwhile in the basement of the FAI National League not so special agent Roy Fox Mulder works on the Foxy Files. The paranormal, conspiracy theories, the supernatural, (and Roy's personal favourite file) alien lifeforms, all of these fall into Roys Foxy Files. Roy's current Foxy Files include Greg O'Dowds continuing appearences in Brookside, last minute equalisers, League of Ireland referring (a particularly large file). Roy's double lifestyle of FBI agent and League of Ireland player does lead to some problems. Roy sometimes gets so involved in his Foxy Files, that his mind becomes distracted when playing football. It is not unusual for Roy to lose concentration for up to half a season. In fact Roys work sometimes overlaps. Last season against Limerick Roy stromped forward to take a penalty but Greg O'Dowd overuled him and took the penalty himself. Most spectators took Roys little run around the field as a tantrum at the decision. Roy was in fact searching for evidence as to why the referee awarded the penalty in the first place. Wherever Roy Fox may go, the paranormal will follow. |
