The Wings win game one of the doubleheader in a close, come from behind win. The Wings took an early 2-0 lead, with a homerun from Laker. Scranton then took the lead in the fourth as they put three on the board to make it 3-2. The Wings then in the bottom of the sixth put two on the board as Laker had another homerun to make it 4-3. Williams then came on in the top of the seventh for his eighth save.
Carrara started and pitched very well for the Wings as he earned the win to bring his record to 4-1. This brings the Wings record to 21-11 and the Wings hope to sweep with a game two win
