| 1909/10 | First Division: 5th. FA Cup: First Round. United move to OLD TRAFFORD, a site chosen and paid for by J.H. Davies who pays all the cost from his own pocket - a sum of £60,000; the equivalent of £1,000,000 at present prices. The ground opens on 19th February when Liverpool win 4-3 before a crowd of over 45,000. |
