United defeat Swindon Town 8-4 to win the Charity Shield.
1912/13 First Division: 4th. FA Cup: Third Round.
1913/14 First Division: 14th. FA Cup: First Round.
1914/15 First Division: 18th. FA Cup: First Round.
League football is suspended at the end of the season at the outbreak of World War One.
1919/20 First Division: 12th. FA Cup: Second Round.
