ultimate listening

Side note....i figured i'd use the word ultimate cos i was "surfing the 'net" and i noticed that everthing abt bands, lyrics, tabs, etc. was "ultimate" something....just my dry humor comming out i guess...all of these albums are essential for diferent reasons...most of which will be explained...and there is no particular order...if you can think of any i left out e-mail me.

  • Amen-these guys fukkin rawk...fr real...

  • Ganksta Nip: South Park Psycho-one of the funniset things i have ever heard...this guy really thinks he's hard...my favorites are "horror movie rap" and "smokin' amp"...you have to hear this ...and i mean that shit!!!

  • Batman Soundtrack-Prince is fucking awesome...and now you know that.

  • Deftones: Adreniline-if you don't own this one, yr dumb...the deftones are so good, even my dad likes 'em.

  • All Tool albums-self explanitory

  • Tricky: Maxinquaye-this guy is a genius, even if he looks like an alien that was caught in a fire.

  • Korn: Korn-with lines like "clown you ain't shit, turn around, get yr face split" and "you can suck my dick and fuckin' like it", how can you go wrong? although i always liked the live version of shoots and ladders..."knick knack paddy whack, give a dog a buck buck buck...".

  • Limp Bizkit: Three Dollar Bill Ya'll$-these guys really knew what they're doing, but now fred's sell out bitch...but i want to marry Wes.

  • Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band: Hulk Rules-before there was Hollywood Hogan, there was the Hulkster. you can't pass this one up...the hulkster actually raps! it's so so funny.

  • All Nirvana albums-if you think mr. cobain(kobain, cobane, kobane etc.) wasn't a genius when it came to writing songs...you bought into what others told you.

  • New Kids on the Block: Hangin' Tough-most of us own it anyway, so why not add it to the list...besides, who can forget "please don't go girl" or donnie's "HOMEBOY" shirt?

  • Vanilla Ice: to the extreme-same as above...most of us own it, so why not add it to the list...besides, who can forget "havin a roni" or that fuckin' hair?

  • Marilyn Manson: Portrait of an American Family-this album has some really great songs...manson at their greatest(?), before the money and fame got to them...

  • N.W.A.: Straight Outta Compton-Ice Cube, Eazy-E and Dr. Dre and MC Ren...four of america's worst nightmares...young, black, and don't give a fuck. who could ever forget "Fuck the Police" it's an aboslute classic. this album is definatly a must(and yeah, i do know that DJ Yella was in the band too, where was he then? gettin eazy, dre and cube 40's and bitches. where is he now? on Dre's and Cube's nuts).

  • Crash Test Dummies: and god shuffled his feet-This is why i won't go to canada...i'm sure it's nice and has produced something worth something, like stile and the kids in the hall...but this band is not even close to good...mmm mmm mmm mmm.

  • Guns 'n Roses: Appetite For Destruction-All i have to say abt this album is five words...Welcome to the Jungle, Baby.

  • A Tribe Called Quest: The Low End Theory-Remember when Busta Rhymes used to be good...i do, and if you own this one, you do too...Check out the Scenario...

  • Natural Born Killers Soundtrack-Trent Reznor Produced it, so how could you go wrong?

  • Lost Highway Soundtrack-another Reznor produced soundtrack. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is real driving music.

  • Judgment Night Soundtrack-The First attempt of mixing hip-hop and metal since Anthrax's "I'm The Man". it worked on a few songs like the title track(biohazard and onyx), Just Another Victim(helmet and house of pain),and I Love You Mary Jane(Cypress Hill and Sonic Youth), but the rest...well...kinda sucked....

  • Spawn Soundtrack-Another Mix of two genre's of music, this time "techno" and metal...like Judgment Night, some songs it worked, some songs it didn't...

  • House Of Pain: Fine Malt Lyrics-Not since the beasties has a white hip-hop group made such an impact on our culture...that's right, white boy, it's ok to like hip-hop and not be someone yr not...

  • E-Town Concrete: Time 2 Shine-This is prolly the best hybrid of hip-hop and metal i've ever heard. this band fucking rocks my shit.

  • Hole: Live Through This.-so what if kurt wrote it fr courtney....that just makes it better.

  • Every nine inch nails album in existence-trent reznor is a true genius...and all of his albums prove it.

  • Slipknot: Slipknot-it is all abt slipknot. these guy's rock. they have 9 members in the band, and each one adds that lil bit that makes them what they are. when corey sings lines like, "you can't see kalifornia without marlon brando's eyes" with the conviction he has, even tho you have no idea what it means, yr just like, "damn right you can't see kalifornia without marlon brando's eyes." this is my favorite band at this moment in time.

  • any old Primus album-primus is the band to get fucked up too...and les claypool is the motherfukking man...it's as simple as that.

  • My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult: thirteen above the night-there are only three things you can do while listening to this album, fight, fuck er dance...you pick which.

  • any tori amos cd-so what if she's completely insane...she writes fabulous music

  • Korn: Issues-this album is so great...the heaviness of the debut album mixed with the melody of follow the leader...true "pimp rock".

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers: Blood Sugar Sex Magik-this album, in my opinion, is the bands best effort...funky as hell, these guys really make great music.

  • Body Count: Body Count-man...Ice T's metal band with hits like the controversial Cop Killer(which was as popular with me as N.W.A.'s Fuck The Police) and KKK bitch, who could go wrong?

  • Public Enemy: Fear of a Black Planet-wow...this is a must-have. 911 is a Joke, Welcome to the Terrordome, Fear of a Black Planet, plus other songs that are way too good to speak of.
