Nnadia and Ekin Cheng were friends when they were
young. When Nnadia was 16 years old and Ekin was 20, Ekin's mom died. He was so sad and
decided to go to the US. Before he goes, he said he will marry Nnadia after he comes back
in 4 years. Nnadia waited for him and never let any man have a chance with her. However, 4
years later, Ekin came back and with him was another girlfriend (Marianne
Chan). He made Nnadia felt so
sad. He told her that his promise to marry her was only a child thinking. Ekin's dad likes Nnadia more than Marianne however. Following that,
Ekin and Marianne went to work at the same company with Nnadia, which made Nnadia felt worst. Nnadia
never took her eyes off Ekin at work. She looked at Ekin and Marian all time while Ekin
only has his eyes on Marianne. Many events after, Ekin acted like a jerk towards Nnadia. However, Nnadia
never changed her love for Ekin and even helped him.
While Nnadia had her eyes only for Kin, a character played by Louis
Koo was interested in her. Later, Mariane decided to return to the US after her
parents' divorce. She wanted some times alone and think about her relationship with Ekin.
Ekin felt sad. After she left, Nnadia
kept Ekin company. Meanwhile, Louis asked Ekin to help him to get closer to Nnadia. However, Ekin felt his love for Nnadia, but he did not say anything and instead
helped Louis out. Later Nnadia found out
that all the things Louis did for her were actually Ekin's ideas. She got angry at Ekin
and told him he was hurting her more. Ekin apologized to Nnadia.
One day, Ekin and Nnadia got in a car
accident on their way home. Ekin was so worry because Nnadia
was really hurt. They were in love at the time. Then Marianne came back, after she felt
that she really loves Ekin and wanted to to back with him. After Marianne found out that
Ekin loves Nnadia, she lied and said she
was prenant. Ekin had to marry her. After Nnadia
found out about Mariane and Ekin's marriage, she decided to study in the US and wanted to
leave on the day of their wedding. On the night before the wedding , Ekin came to Nnadia's apartment and look up to the window and saw
that Nnadia has not left yet. Mariane saw him on the street at that moment. On the wedding
day, Marianne decided to tell Ekin the truth. At the end, Ekin did not marry Marianne and Nnadia and Ekin lived together.
