Their Manifesto:
MANIFESTO OF OUTRAGED AMERICAN VOTERS
We are concerned American citizens. Most of us reside
abroad.
We demonstrate here today, DURING the Inauguration
of George W. Bush as President of the United States, to
protest his unlawful selection. We condemn the action of
our Supreme Court, which did NOT permit all the votes
of the American people to be counted.
In his dissenting opinion, Supreme Court Justice John
Paul Stevens wrote, "Although we may never know with
complete certainty the identity of the winner of this
year's presidential election, the identity of the loser
is perfectly clear. It is the nation's confidence in
the judge as an impartial guardian of the rule of law."
The incoming administration of George W. Bush is
already threatening our civil liberties by nominating an
extremist to the post of U.S. Attorney General -- former
Senator John Ashcroft. We urge all Americans to
oppose his Senate confirmation in every possible way.
By demonstrating here today we express our outrage
and disgust.
OUTRAGED AMERICAN VOTERS
