Geoffrey Davies worked in local newspapers before moving to Thames Television where he worked as a television journalist for Thames News (Now London News Network) and also made children's programmes. In the 1980s worked on the launch of the UK's first breakfast TV news service - TVAM - where he produced the service's Sunday morning current affairs show Frost on Sunday and became deputy head of features. He worked in cable TV on the launch of the Children's Channel and at Music Box where he became head of programmes. As a freelance he directed videos for corporate clients and had further experience of working as a television journalist for ITN, Visnews. In addition he has worked at BSB as producer/director of The Computer Channel, a business television service. He has also worked as a commerical radio journalist, as a TV consultant to Mirror Group Newspapers and other major companies.
