Ever since
I was a small child, I have loved to read! There is nothing like "losing
yourself" within the pages of a great book for beating stress, and for
getting a daily "escape" from the routines and demands of everyday life.
The subject of literature is very near and dear to my heart, and it is
my hope that these pages will serve as a helpful resource for you in navigating
the wealth of great literature sites in the Heartland Community and on
the rest of the World Wide Web.

Children's Literature Nook
Very nice
site has a good variety of children's literature resources. Also nice are
sections on "Afro-Americans in Children's Literature," "American History
and Children's Books," "Language Arts and Children's Books," and so on.
Not all the links on this site work, but there's still a wealth of good
information here....
