CROSS OVER TO BOY SCOUTS

Boy Scouts

On Friday, March 30 during the March Pack Meeting, 17 2nd-year Webelos crossed-over to Troop 612.

We congratulate the Scouts for their efforts. We will miss them and their families.

We wish them much success as Boy Scouts and beyond!

Five Scouts earned their Arrow of Light at the Blue and Gold Dinner in February 2001! Steven, Martin, Dean and Kenny have almost completed all 20 Webelos Activity Pins! Zachary is catching up quickly to them. FANTASTIC!!!

Joseph and Zachary earned their Fitness pin and completed the other requirements for their Webelos patch which was presented to them at the December Pack Meeting. Congratulations!

We welcome a new Scout, Zachary to the Patrol.

On Sunday, October 8 the Patrol and two younger sibilings (a Bear and Tiger Cub) completed the Redwood Creek Trail Trekker hike and also earned the Forester pin. The boys are wrapping up Athlete, Traveler and Handyman.

On Tuesday, October 3, the Patrol visited the Sheriff Station for a tour. We saw the jail, a patrol car and the emergency dispatch department as we work on our Citizen pin!

At the September Pack Meeting, we welcomed a new Scout, Joseph, to the Patrol. Joseph will be busy working on his Bobcat requirements. The boys were awarded their Craftsman, Sportsman and Outdoorsman pins. Two boys also received their Forester pin. Each boy was awarded various belt loops, including Swimming, Baseball, Archery, Golf and Volleyball. The special Coastal Cleanup event patch was also presented!

During the summer the Patrol went on an overnight camping trip at Coyote Hills. While there, two boys and their families prepared dinner. The other two boys and families cooked a delicious breakfast. One family organized a campfire program, another dad taught the boys how to tie knots. One family provided a volleyball set. All the boys completed the Coyote Hills Trail Trekker Hike.

Additionally, during the summer, two boys attended Webelos Day Camp. Three Patrol families participated in the Pack's July Bike Ride. Two families completed the August Pack Hike. Three families participated in the September Coastal Clean-up. Various boys also played baseball, attended swimming lessons, played basketball, completed golf lessons.
