Fan Art in 3-D!

UPDATE! (12/22/2007): NEW PROJECT COMPLETED! Clickable thumbnail is at the bottom...

I started with making clay figures kind of by accident back when I was in the 6th grade... over the years, I experimented with different clays before settling on oven-curing polymer clay, like Sculpey Premo!, which is now my medium of choice... it's turned out that my work with Premo! has turned into a unique sort of fan art... I prefer to make figures of anime characters that were never produced as toys or dolls, in the style of Banpresto UFO catcher dolls...

I do want to stress that I do NOT take commissions... I apologize if this rains on anyone's parade, but I just don't have the time I used to have to devote to my projects, since I work full-time and all that... that, and I get distracted easily... I will usually abandon a job mid-stream to start another one, and I will even finish the second job and start a THIRD one long before the first one is ever finished... I doubt anyone would want to put up with this, so I figure it's just better all around to not take commissions... I'm not ruling out the future possibility of making a few figures for sale at eBay, though, but that's not a promise, either... ;)

Now that all of that is out of the way...

Below is one of the projects I'm most proud of... the Witches 5 from Sailor Moon S...
