• Details: I used Bullshot grease on all the bearings, including the Shimano CB-E110 rear hub, and Pedro's Ice Wax lube on the new chain. "Scarlet" now sports new Kenda 26x2.125 BW tires, new tubes, rimstrips, front wheel and crank bearings, Wald 44t front sprocket, KT 18t rear sprocket, 1/8" chain, pedals, Ritchey True Grips, saddle, and reproduction (cable-driven) speedometer. Her paint and chrome trim is "factory-original".

I purchased "Scarlett", my (American-made) Huffy single-speed coaster bicycle (NIB) in March of 1990, and rode her faithfully over the next (14) fourteen years, during the Spring and Fall seasons, on paved roads only, in and around the Coolidge area. She sat idle in my shop for the next year, before receiving a long-awaited TLC Overhaul and Upgrade.
