Rules of the Daycare
There is an additional $5 charge, per week, per child for the purchase of craft materials that are used for the childrens projects.
There is an additional, one-time only, non-refundable application fee of $30 per family.
There will be a $10 fee for every 15-minutes that you are either early at dropping off your child, or late from picking you your child, from the normal daycare hours that are posted. The late fee is per child, not per family.
Friday all payments are due. There will be a fee of $10/day exceeding Friday's that payments are late. NO EXCEPTIONS!
All past due fees exceeding 10-days will be collected through small claims court payable by you.
Cash & money orders only for payments at this time.
Daycare will be terminated if late fees have not been met. Termination also includes habitual late payments.
There will be no refunds given if:
    A) Child(ren) has/have been expelled indefinitely from daycare
    B) And/or ALL fees (including late fees) have not been met
    C) And/or there has been any destruction of property by the child(ren) that                         payments are rendering.
ALL payments must be paid one week in advance prior to daycare.
Charges will still accumulate if your child(ren) is/are absent anytime during the week, any planned vacations by you (the parent), and holiday's that fall on weekdays. This assures your child's permanent slot, at the daycare, will not be replaced.
A child can be removed from daycare indefinitely at any point of time or day. This is to protect the daycare children, and myself, from any harm that the child may have caused, or have the potential to cause.
It is the daycare's responsibility to report ANY signs (or suspicious grounds) of child abuse or neglect of a child, at any given time.
1) NO EXCEPTION POLICY:
A) No pushing, shoving, hitting, spitting, biting, or any other means that could cause bodily harm to themselves, the children or daycare personnel.
B) No profanity or verbal abuse/threats by a child, against any child or adult, at any time or place, while attending the daycare.
C) No rude gestures or misconduct continuance after the child has been warned previously.
D) No medications are to be carried by a child chile in daycare. This includes cough drops or throat lozenges.
E) No drugs, alcohol or weapons are allowed on the daycare's premisis, at any time, by any child or anyone.
F) No candy or food can be brought in the daycare unless it is store bought and sealed by the products manufacturer and/or enough that can be shared by every child in the daycare.
G) No toys are to be brought into the daycare. There is an exception to this rule if the toy is used for children under the age of three (preferably a stuffed animal, doll or blanket), comforting the child until the child has adjusted to his/er new environment, and the toys is labeled with the child's name in permanent ink.
H) The daycare is NOT responsible for any lost or stolen items that has been brought into the daycare.
I) All children MUST have a permission slip signed by their parent/legal guardian in order to be allowed to attend any field trip. If you do not wish to sign the field trip form for your child, you MUST provide other means of daycare for your child for that day.
J) No child is allowed to pick-up, carry, or feed any infants and/or toddlers without the permission and supervision of the daycare provider. This is to reassure parents safety that their baby would not be at risk of being dropped or mistreated while in the care of the daycare center.
2) RULES ON DISCIPLINE:
Note: These disciplinary actions by seem harsh to some parents, but please note that the provider does consider the child's age. Also, if the child responds to one punishment better than another (ie: child won't sit still in a chair, but will stand in the corner), then that punishment will be carried out on all disciplinary actions that may have to be taken. The daycare DOES NOT use any forms of physical punishment (spanking) on any child that attends the daycare.
A) "Three strikes, you're out" Rule:
    1) First strike is a verbal warning
    2) Second strike is "time-out" chair
    3) Third strike is standing in the corner
When all of these actions have been taken, and the child shows no means to comply by the rules, the parent will be called and the child MUST be picked-up from the daycare immediately. If the child has to be picked up for a consecutive (3) times, the child will be expelled indefinitely from daycare.
B) Whenever a child has been or is displaying unacceptable behavior, you child will be recorded on camera to show the parents and/or legal guardians, upon pick-up, of what the child had been doing. This is to ensure safety to the child, the provider, and to all the other children that are presently in the daycare. The video will be kept confidential to only the child and that parent and/or legal guardian of that child. No other parties will be allowed access to viewing the tape. Depending on the nature of the problem, the video cam be kept on file for future references.
3) RULES ON OTHER PARTIES PICKING UP CHILDREN FROM THE DAYCARE:
1) No person, other than the child's parents and/or legal guardian, can pick-up the child(ren) from daycare without a written and signed permission form from the child's parent/legal guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS!
2) If there becomes an emergency, and no form can be signed at that time, the emergency contact that the parent had listed, on the child's application, will be contacted as a second reference.
3) Anytime a child will be picked up by someone other than the parent, that is not listed on the child's pick-up peermission form, must have the parent's/legal guardian's written and signed consent on a piece of paper. If this kind of consent cannot be accomplished by the party picking up the child(ren) from daycare, you will need to call the daycare in order to receive an ID code prior to pick-up of your child(ren). It is very important to receive the code. It will be your responsibility to give the ID code to the other party. Each time, so you cannot expect to use the same code on other days, or for use by other parties, the parents, the provider and the other party member that is to receive that child. Other information may be requested from the parents that are calling over the phone to verify identification of the parent/legal guardian.
I like to reassure parents that I will provide a safe and loving environment for all children in the daycare. Each child's parent and/or family member is welcomed to stop in and visit the daycare at any time.

The "No Exception" policy may seem harsh to some parents, but I feel that it is reasonable towards the quality of the care that your child will be receiving while attending the daycare. If you have any concerns, questions or comments, please let me know.
