Round 1 - Group Play Standings

RULES:

1. Deadline to play home and away matches is Friday December 12, 2003
2. Home and Away matches between each team in a group
3. Top team in each group receive a BYE to the Quarter Finals
4. 2nd and 3rd place teams move to Round 2
5. If a team becomes inactive and does not play their matches before the deadline, without notifying me, they will forfeit their matches by the score of 2-0
6. Tie breaking procedures:

The top team from each of four groups will advance to the Quarter Final Round of the Quebec Cup. Should there be a tie in the standings after the completion of group play, the ties will be broken in favor of teams meeting the following series of criteria.

a) Best total goal differential in group play.(=)
b) Most total goals scored in group play.(GF)

If two or more teams remain tied after the above then:
c) Best goal differential between the teams still tied.
d) Greater number of goals scored in matches between the tied teams.
e) Drawing of lots.

X - Eliminated from advancement
D - Disqualified
