Two New Records of Ukraine On the Championship of Ukraine In Kiev!!!

May 14-16, 2001 in Kiev the Championship of Ukraine in finswimming was held. The past competitions were the main start of a season 2000/2001. On results of a Championship the modular team of Ukraine was formed, were summarized of trainings. The nervousness before the competition was present at all teams. And as differently could be, you see every point was considered on weight of gold, one mistake could remove a team from first on the fifth place. The strongest, between which struggle for the first place should be conducted, the team CSTK-Aquarium which has borrowed the second place on a Championship of Europe among club teams of 2001 in Hungary and a team "Darnitsa", one of the most tituled teams in Europe was obvious. In structure of both teams the champions of Europe, recordsmen of Ukraine. However sportsmen of a team "Darnitsa" are much younger than the competitors from Aquarium. It was impossible and to not be considered with other teams. The very strong team was brought by city Severodonetsk. Teams from Zaporozhye and Kharkov also have brought the best sportsmen, which on equal struggled for medals of maximum advantage.
The expectation of sensation has not forced itself long to wait. Per the first day of competitions the female team of city Severodonetsk for the first time in the history wins relay race 4x200 meters, Yulia Semenchenko beats a record of Ukraine on a distance 800 ì IS, belonging Yulia Uspenska. A new record all on 6 100-th better previous - 6.59.61. The champion of the world Eugeniy Yakovlev confidently wins the same distance, however to update a record nevertheless it was not possible - 6.28.2. Considered the best on 400 ì Viktor Panev lost this distance for 7 seconds to Maxim Moroz, 3.20.4 and 3.13.3 accordingly. After the first day of competitions the team "Darnitsa" is in the lead, outstriping a CSTK-Aquarium on 80 points.
The second day of competitions was interesting not less. The struggle becomes aggravated. The basic attention was arrested on a distance 1500 ì and 100 ì IS. On a distance 1500 ì at the women unknown struggle. For the first place battle between Anna Kolesnik (Aquarium) and young Irina Polozhentseva (Darnitsa). A victory pulls out Irina Polozhentseva (1988) - 14.55.37 At the men on this distance has appeared champion of Europe Maxim Moroz - stronger 13.12.2, second was Eugeniy Shandyga - 13.27.6. On a distance 100 ì IS the new record is again established. And again Yulia Semenchenko! At the men here was stronger Eugeniy Yakovlev - 36.6. 100 ì IS has appeared a decisive distance in struggle between teams. The team a CSTK-Aquarium here for the first time leaves forward and already is in the lead on 40 points.
Per the third day of competitions everyone should decide relay races 4x100 m. At the women struggle between teams from Severodonetsk, CSTK-Aquarium (KIEV) and "Darnitsa" (KIEV). The victory here is pulled out by a CSTK-Aquarium. At the men a similar situation. For one second stronger there was a team CSTK-Aquarium.
So in general offset the victory was gained by a team CSTK-Aquarium (KIEV), second was "Darnitsa" (KIEV), third SDUSTSH-Katran (KIEV).
